The San Antonio Museum of Art is a great place to learn more about other cultures and civilizations all around the world. See amazing Egyptian, Roman, Greek collections of art. There is also an extensive collection of 500 Asian artworks from China making SAMA one of the finest Asian collections in the nation. Plus see Latin American art, American art, and Contemporary art too. San Antonio Museum of Art gives a wonderful experience of connecting with the present and past through art.

Quick tips: Taking pictures and video is allowed but No Flash and only in the permanent exhibits. No photography is permitted in the special exhibitions. No food and drink in the museum. Outside, on the riverside of the museum, is a small cafe that sells drinks and small snacks. Inside the museum is a gift shop to purchase souvenoirs. A wide assortment of items are availalbe some under a dollar! Admission is free on Tuesdays from 4 pm until 9 pm. The museum is located 200 West Jones Ave, San Antonio, TX 210-978-8100 .
