Newly renovated, the Aztec Theater is an amazing walk into the past! Step into the 1920s, when movie theatres were known as movie palaces, a unique architectural genre which boasted a luxurious design and a giant screen. These grand auditoriums use to house the rich and famous. The Aztec Theater was built in 1926, and first showed silent movies.

Today, the Aztec Theatre brings to you a Texas-sized tribute to country music with the classic country show “San Antonio Rose live.” An exciting two-hour live show featuring the best of traditional country, western swing, and gospel music. It’s the songs that made you fall in love with country music. Featuring the San Antonio Rose Band comprised of 10 world-class musicians from Nashville, Branson, Austin, and San Antonio.
